I still get goosebumps thinking about how in all the billions of people in the world, two people can find each other and fall in love - that’s definitely worth celebrating!
Get to know me
I’m a mum of two beautiful children, and one awesome whippet called Douglas.
I’m a wife, a friend and in a previous life I was an ECE teacher, Hospital Play Specialist and I have spent years on the stage performing theatre.
Good coffee is my life line and a walk along the beach with my doggo and a coffee in hand is my happy place. I’m also a massive cocktail fan! I love a delicious meal out, dancing in the kitchen with my kids and singing my heart out - even when I get the lyrics wrong!
Now, as a celebrant I get so excited creating bespoke ceremonies and just can’t get enough of the love buzz when I witness two people say I do!
My ceremony style
I will bring your love story to life with a relaxed, fun and heartfelt delivery; that means NO boring monotone when it comes to retelling your epic story. I am not there to put anyone to sleep, I am there to kick the love party off!
I will also make sure your ceremony is totally true to you - cutting out the traditions that don’t fit and offering ideas to make it completely bespoke.
At the end of the day you may not remember all the words, but you will remember how you felt. My goal is to make you smile so much that your cheeks hurt. To fill the hearts of both you and your guests with all those love buzz feels.

I sure do! You can Bluetooth to my speaker and let the ceremony music flow from it! I also have you covered when it comes to a mic. That way, all your guests in the back can hear you say I do!

It is your responsibility to order and pay for the licence, (it costs $150). However, I will totally help you out by sending you a reminder email one month out with the link to the form…so all you need to do is click and fill it out! Get it sent to me and I will print it out all the documents and bring them on the day for you and your witnesses to sign. The licence takes 3 working days to process and lasts for 3 months. Please note, I need to see the licence so that I know that everything is in order for you to become a happily married couple!

Any two people that you choose, whether that is someone you want to honour in this special role, or you want to add a little fun with a witness raffle. Your 2 witnesses must understand what’s happening during the ceremony. They must be able to clearly identify both of you and be satisfied you both consent to the marriage.
They:
don’t need to have known you for any specific length of time and
can be children of any age, as long as they understand the nature of the ceremony and are able to demonstrate that understanding in court if required.

If I’m ever too sick to officiate (which is super rare!), don’t worry – I’ve got you covered! I’m part of a fantastic network of celebrants who are just as fun and professional, and I’d make sure you have someone amazing to step in. Your day is too important to leave to chance!
-
Once you’ve locked in the date and venue, the next key vendors are your photographer, perhaps a planner, and – the only vendor you actually have to have – the celebrant!
Make sure you do your research, and get in touch with one that you have liked the look of. Check out their website, social media and google reviews and then meet them in person where you can to make sure you click. Celebrants book up fast, especially the ones who bring the fun and create unforgettable moments. Aim for at least 9 – 12 months out, but if your heart’s set on someone, reach out sooner rather than later.

What sets my ceremonies apart? It’s all about creating a vibe that’s totally you. I take the time to get to know you, your story, your style so that every word, every moment, feels like, ‘Wow, that was so us!’ From weaving in personal touches to finding ways to keep it relaxed and fun. I make sure your ceremony feels like a true celebration of who you are as a couple. No cookie-cutter ceremonies here – just something real, meaningful and uniquely yours!
-
A rehearsal? Totally up to you! Some vendors will say this is a must and having one can be a great way to shake off any nerves, as you go over the flow of the ceremony and get everyone comfy with their roles. It’s also a nice excuse to gather with your I do crew before the big day! But if you’re more of a ‘keep it spontaneous’ couple, no worries – many couples skip it and everything still flows beautifully. Either way, I’ll guide you on the day, so it’s all smooth sailing!

I’m all about blending in with your style! I’ll ask you about the colours and themes and the vibe you’re going for, so I look the part for your day. Whether it’s classy neutrals, a splash of colour, or even a fun dress-up theme, I’m in! Your day, your style.
